Fantastic Jo – very clear instructions without any waffle 🙂
Thanks Renée, really don’t like my recorded voice but managed to get through it without too many problems… 🙂
Jo, this is great! Very clear instructions. I am looking forward to the more of your videos.
Thank you Jan, it was quite fun making it… 🙂
This is a good video, Jo. Creating a manual table of contents is a very good skill, especially to make an ebook easy to navigate.
Thanks for the video!
Gwen
Thank you Gwen, my aim was to create something that everyone could easily follow. 🙂
Hi Jo,
Your video is something I wish I had seen before I published my eBook. I wanted to do this, but had no clue on how it was done. Do these links follow when they are uploaded by the eBook publishers? I will have to try this when I publish my next book. Thanks for sharing this tip. I am bookmarking this post.
Lou Barba
Hi Lou,
Thanks for your comment – the links should all stay intact when you upload to the eBook publishers. Some publishers create their own table of contents, but it’s better to include your own for those who don’t.
Good luck with your next book and keep an eye out for my other videos! 🙂
Great video Jo, I have subscribed to your You Tube channel x
Thanks Jade, hoping to do some more videos soon! 🙂
This is just what I was looking for, really. I just made an ebook in Word last week but didn’t know how to make the table of contents clickable. The video was very clear, but I did have to rewind it to watch how you hyperlinked the contents to the bookmarks as it was a little fast. Or I’m a little slow. 🙂
That’s great Phil… It was probably me being too fast, used to get accused of that a lot when showing colleagues or family how to do something, sorry!
Thanks for the video, very helpful and easy to follow. Just saved me loads of time when all the other explanations of this task were vague at best.
Really pleased it was helpful and easy to follow Simon 🙂
