Several years ago now I was given a piece of advice which I have never forgotten. It was this:
“Don’t waste your valuable time working on things that aren’t earning you money. If you can pay someone £10 an hour to work on the small things, this will free you up to earn £30-50 per hour focusing on what you’re good at”. Sadly, I am unable to recall where the advice came from. Nowadays there is a wealth of information about “Outsourcing” online:

So, here I am, a Virtual Assistant, I can do many of those menial, time consuming, and non revenue producing tasks for you, whilst you move forward realising your dreams and making more money per hour than you pay me. For instance, if you can earn £100 per hour speaking at an event, or conference, why not pay me to do some of the leg work for this and give you more time to do what you do well. An hour of my time frees you up to earn another £100 and reduces your work load.
I am a great administrator and organiser; I am passionate about what I do, just as you probably are about what you do. If you are successful I am pretty sure that getting things right is at the top of your list. Well, that’s good, because getting things right is at the top of my list too. If we collaborate and work as a team then you will have time to become more successful, or if you prefer, have more free time to spend with your loved ones.
There are many other ways that I can save you money. These are the most obvious ones. You won’t need to pay me if I am sick, you won’t need to pay me whilst I am on holiday, you won’t need to make pension contributions or national insurance contributions for me. I can be working for you as a VA, but you have none of the overheads you’d have if I was your PA and working in your place of work. Hey, you don’t even have to supply me with my PC, a desk, chair, and safe working environment or provide me somewhere to make myself a drink. Less obvious advantages are, I won’t be late for work due to public transport problems, road works, the wrong leaves on the line, or heavy snow.
